I've owned a Frame TV and a couple of cheaper digital frames before this, and the whole point of the Lynoq is that it doesn't look like a screen. It's a proper matte, paper-like surface — no glow, no glare, no black mirror when it's switched off.
In our south-facing living room the old frame was washed out by mid-morning; the Lynoq only looks better in daylight. Half the people who visit assume it's a real print until it quietly changes. The battery has gone about two months on the first charge, and there isn't a single cable on the wall.

Bought this mainly because I was tired of chargers and cables on every surface. It arrives charged, you hang it, and then you basically forget about it — the battery lasts months and it updates silently overnight. No fan, no light, no buzzing. It just sits there looking like framed art, which is exactly what I wanted.

Love these for family photos and art. I've got two on the wall — one landscape, one portrait — and I'm waiting on the larger size so I can finally get a proper collage of the kids and grandkids off the computer and onto the wall where we can actually see them. Best part is they hang anywhere without a power supply or cables, since the rechargeable battery lasts for ages.
They aren't cheap, but next to a Frame TV that does something similar and is far more fiddly, the Lynoq is well worth it. I chose it after watching a load of comparison videos because it came ready to set up your own playlists and schedules. Takes a little getting used to, but worth it. Picture quality is lovely and reads just like a real print — just don't expect it to glow; the more light in the room, the better it looks.
I don't usually leave reviews, but the quality of both the product and the service compelled me to. We're delighted with the canvas. Build quality is excellent and the fact that there are no wires is a huge plus. The software is strong too, and I suspect we still aren't getting the most out of it.
Don't expect an iPad-level display — for me that's part of the charm — but in a well-lit room at a normal viewing distance you genuinely can't tell it apart from a traditional print. We've had a lot of compliments from visitors who don't realise it's a digital display at all. We hit a minor shipping delay, and customer service were excellent throughout — big credit to Jessica — which only reinforced that we'd bought from the right people.

It was a gift, and the person I gave it to loved it the moment we had it set up on the wall.

Really pleased with this in the end, though it took a little trial and error. The first artwork sync over wifi was slower than I expected, and I had to move it away from a bright window before the colours looked their best. Once it was dialled in it's genuinely beautiful — the matte finish looks like a real print and everyone assumes it is one. My only small wish is that a quick-start card had been in the box, since I worked most of it out myself. Photos attached so you can see how it looks on our wall.
Reply from Lynoq:
Thank you so much for the photos and the honest feedback — it looks wonderful on your wall. You're right that the first sync can take a little longer while the full collection downloads, and that the display is at its best in good ambient light rather than direct sun. We've passed your note about including a quick-start card to the team; it's a fair point. If we can help you fine-tune the schedules or collections, we're only an email away.

Love this product, especially the local API. I built a small app so the Canvas shows our daily and weekly schedule plus a few other things for my kids — they love it.
You do have to be realistic about the colours: they're softer than an iPad and there's no pure bright white, so it's not how I'd show off vivid family snapshots. But for art, schedules and calm displays it's excellent. I'd happily buy a larger one — it's really just the price holding me back.
Reply from Lynoq:
Thank you so much for sharing this thoughtful feedback. You're absolutely right about the display characteristics. Lynoq uses E Ink Spectra 6, so it doesn't behave like an iPad or a backlit screen — the colours are naturally softer. It works best in good ambient light and is especially suited to art, schedules, dashboards and calm visual displays. We also really appreciate your interest in a larger version.

We put two of these in the hallway and they've quickly become the thing everyone comments on. They update silently overnight, so you never catch one rebooting or flashing as you walk past. I've scheduled softer artwork in the morning and bolder pieces in the evening — it sounds gimmicky, but it's lovely in practice. No glare from the skylight above them either, which had ruined every framed photo we'd hung there before.

Genuinely happy with it, with two honest notes. When you switch artworks there's a short refresh of a couple of seconds — that's just how e-ink works, but worth knowing if you're expecting an instant swap. And the colour range is more muted than a backlit screen. Neither is a complaint for me: I wanted something calm on the wall with no eye strain and no glow at night, and it nails that. The paper-like finish is lovely up close.
